9/12/23 Message from Condor President Keith McPherson: It is with a very heavy heart that I relate to you the passing of Linda Lewis, a dear Condor friend and the wife of member Jan Lewis.

Linda always brightened our various social functions, and enjoyed flying with Jan in their Cessna 210.

More recently, you know Linda as the Co-Founder of the Lewis “Freedom of Flight” Scholarship Program, which provides young pilots an opportunity to pursue the same passion for aviation that Linda enjoyed.

To support Linda’s dream, the family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Scholarship Program at the following link: https://www.givesendgo.com/Lindalewis

Please keep Linda and the Lewis family in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

Fly High and Rest in Peace, Linda. You will be missed.

The Lewis “Freedom of Flight” Scholarship was established in 2021 by long-time Condor Aero Club members, Jan and Linda Lewis.  Jan has been afforded tremendous opportunities in aviation through his extensive and accomplished career.  His and Linda’s passion for excellence in aviation is infectious.  They established this scholarship to support aviators with great dreams and strong desires with the ability to reach into the skies.
